What do you dislike about making music and what do you love about it?
What I dislike about making music is that it’s never quite perfect. But that’s also what I love about it. Also, The best things are the coincidences and happy accidents that occur during the production process.

What goes on in your head when you’re on stage?
As little as possible. I try to focus on the performance and nothing else. It’s when things go through my head, that I start seizing up. Getting out of the head zone is critical for me.

What do you get most obsessive about when you’re making music?
Editing and arrangement.

Who’s a local talent more people should know about?
E4444e. He’s a young guy from Newcastle that sounds like early Panda Bear. Really fucking cool and completely home baked.

What’s a quote that made you do something?
I don’t go in for inspo quotes. As far as quotes go, I often find solace in Marcus Aurelius: “The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.”

What record do you think you’ve listened to the most times in your life?
A very close tie between:
(Nirvana – In Utero)
(Beck – Mellow Gold)
(Radiohead – Kid A)
(You Am I – Hi Fi Way)
(Wilco – Yankee Hotel Foxtrot)
(Machine Translations – Happy)
(Oasis – Definitely Maybe)
(Blur – Blur)
